An overview of reflectarray technology: History, achievements, and future challenges

Abstract

The historical development of reflectarrays was briefly outlined. Different types of reflectarrays were presented. The method of analysis used for each type was briefly discussed. The advantages and disadvantages of reflectarrays were presented. Some examples were given to demonstrate the multifunction capabilities of reflectarrays. Some of the future challenges on the way to further development of reflectarrays were discussed.
