Adaptive antenna research at the ElectroScience Laboratory

Abstract

The main thrust of the effort has been to develop arrays that would provide both interference protection and reliable signal acquisition and tracking in communication systems. The research has involved both theoretical and experimental studies for a variety of applications, and has been supported by several government agencies as well as industry The purpose of this paper is to present a brief overview of the past research, and summarize some current research projects on adaptive antenna arrays at ESL.
