The proposed circuit outperforms some similar kind of previously reported designs from the viewpoint of operating frequency range as well as with respect to controlling and monitoring the motor. Moreover, the total cost of the proposed circuit is comparatively cheaper than the traditional DC Motor Drivers available in market. Abstract

The work presented in this paper achieves the speed control of separately exited DC motor by varying the armature voltage using chopper circuit.
