Abstract
The OH- groups absorption band depth profiles of LiNbO3 single crystals were investigated after high-temperature treatment in the presence of CuO powder. The changes of the optical absorption caused by diffusion of Cu were registered in the direction perpendicular to the direction of diffusion.
