Abstract

Photoablation occurs in laser-irradiated tissue when the laser parameters are adjusted appropriately. This effectively removes the target tissue directly by breaking the molecular bonds and expunging the decomposed fragments. Excimer lasers in pulse mode emit photons carrying enough energy to break the bonds.
