It is an extension of cloud services to the edge of the network with an additional layer called as fog layer. This paper presents the architecture, characteristics and need of the fog computing. Abstract

The integration of Cloud Computing and Internet of Things is setting major goals for developing smarter applications. It has changed the way of computation, storage, processing and other limitations for the things linked to the Internet. Innovations are stimulating in both the fields with this integration.
