The result shows that the fundamental frequency of ‘a’ and ‘b’ sound from laryngectomised patient without electrolarynx are 363. Hz and 727 Hz, respectively. By using an electrolarynx those frequency are 888 Hz and 1000 Hz, respectively. Laryngectomy is the treatment to totally remove the larynx in order to clear out laryngeal cancer. The trachea is led outside to the neck and thus is separated from the esophagus.
