This study aimed to determine values of hematological parameters in tilapia cultured in cages in the region of Paulo Afonso, Bahia, Brazil, evaluating the effect of seasonality. There was a significant difference (p <0.05) in the number of red blood cells, packed cell volume, hemoglobin concentration, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin of concentration, the total number of leukocytes, and the relative number of lym - phocytes and neutrophils. The studied haematological parameters showed influence of seasonality.
