Abstract

In this article, we present serial concatenated single differential space-time block coding (SDST), with channel estimation based on soft decision feedback. Two schemes with soft decision feedback extracted from different positions of the serial structure, such as the output of inner decoder and outer decoder, are proposed and thoroughly studied. Improved system performance is demonstrated and compared via simulations.
