Abstract

The article describes the model of learning motivation MUSIC, which teachers can use to develop their own training courses in the disciplines of higher education. Model author B.D. Jones included five components in the structure of the model of academic (learning) motivation, such as: student empowerment, usefulness, success, interest, care. The article describes the components of the model and presents methodological recommendations that teachers can take into account when developing their own system of motivating students in the educational process. A positive result of the creation of MUSIC was that the study of the model stimulates research in the field of higher education related to its structural components, proposals to improve the efficiency of the learning process at the university.
