Abstract

The Informatics course, which was embedded into school curriculum in 1985, at the time of its development under the guidance of the member of academician A. P. Ershov had both theoretical and experimental components. The article analyses the way from Young Programmers’ School to the first class the students of which were taught according to the experimental program embedded into the syllabus of one of comprehensive schools in Novosibirsk Academgorodok, as well as the impact of this experience on the following development of Informatics advance course teaching.
