The author attempts to give a retrospective analysis of bilateral relations since Myanmar gained independence under different political systems and different political leaders. The article notes that with all the political systems of both countries, relations between them have always been friendly, although sometimes there was restraint and wariness in a difficult political situation in the world. The author concludes that today bilateral relations are on the rise. Abstract
The article is devoted to the upcoming 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Myanmar (Burma) and Russia (USSR). The author attempts to give a retrospective analysis of bilateral relations since Myanmar gained independence under different political systems and different political leaders.
