O papel estratégico das NITs na política de inovação das instituições de ensino superior

Abstract

The article aims to analyze the strategic role of the NITs in the elaboration of the innovation policies of the Higher Education Institutions-IEs, in the states of Rio Grande do Norte (RN) and Paraiba (PB), as well as if the policies of the institutions meet the art 15 of Law 13.243 / 2016. Data collection was performed through interviews with managers and documentary analysis of the institutions' innovation policies. As a result of the research, it was noticed the full support of the NITs in the elaboration of the Innovation Policy in the institutions. The participation of the internal and external community in the construction took place through the discussion of drafts prepared by the NITs and published on their websites. The main benefit of innovation policy is the protection of creations and improved integration with private companies.
