Abstract

By the stability test on the composite curved plates of different radius and different size, studying the influence of different radius and different size on the buckling loads and the buckling modes of the test pieces. The following results are obtained: the radius of the test pieces reducing 25%, the buckling load increases 26%; while the influence of radius on the buckling mode is very small. The height of the test pieces reducing 42.3%, the buckling load increases 28%; the arc length of the test pieces reducing 20.8%, the buckling load reduces 13.4%; while the influence of size on the buckling mode is great.
