Abstract

The article analyzes the main trends in the system of higher education. The analysis of models of the university of the third generation is carried out. The main goals of the university in the historical context are considered. The idea of the commercialization of higher education as one of the leading goals of a new generation university is analyzed. A number of basic tasks are determined in the construction of the university environment of the new generation.
