Abstract

SprayCoolTM developed a hybrid liquid and air-cooled solution for the army's command post platform (CPP), and the result is referred to as CPP-Light (CPP-L). Utilizing COTS network and server gear installed in three sealed transit cases installed in the bed of a HMMWV results in a smaller and lighter configuration of the vehicle utilizing less power. This repackaging of equipment into individual transit cases facilitates the transition between mobile and static operations with mounted and dismounted operation of the transit case equipment.
