Overview of the Possibilities for Realization of the Interaction between RES and Natural Gas

Abstract

Wind and solar energy have been used for many years, but it is only in the last decade that their production prices have fallen sharply, leading to a jump in the number of installations around the world. With RES we have more control and diversification than with natural gas. Natural gas is needed to balance renewables until the necessary capacity is built from capacities that will meet energy demand. Expensive natural gas encourages demand for green alternatives.
