LA RECENSION DE TEXTE ET LE TEXTE SCIENTIFIQUE: UN AIR DE FAMILLE? IS THERE A FAMILY RESEMBLANCE BETWEEN BOOK REVIEW AND SCIENTIFIC TEXT?

Abstract

Book reviews, as well as scientific texts, are unanimously appreciated for their formative and informative value. In order to highlight specific features of both types of texts, a comparative analysis will be used, based on cognitive theory, mainly the prototype theory and the family resemblance theory, and a corpus linguistics methodology. The article pursues various aspects of communication of scientific information in these two types of texts in point of lexical units and other linguistic means.
