LANGUAGE TERMS’ THAT ARE USED BY AHMAD MOKHTAR OMAR

Abstract

This article aims at the explanation of terms, as a science of terms and its history within the frame of terms’ origin in Western. Then, it refers to scientific rules for terms throughout creation. What’s more, it emphasizes terms systems that can be formed by ıshteqaq, ewzan, al-naht, and tarkeb, figurative transfer, and language loan by using different examples. Moreover, it researches the problems of terms and recommendation for solving these problems as solutions. After that, it relies on language terms that are used by Ahmad Mokhtar Omar in his books, such as Ilmu’d Dalalah in the field of semantics and Derasah As-Sawtu’l Lugawe in the field of phonetic, in terms of application for the topic.
