Abstract
Bioelectrogenic microorganisms offer an attractive alternative for generating electricity when traditional methodologies are impractical. Coupled with a fuel cell, these microorganisms provide a potentially auspicious source of renewable energy. A microbial fuel cell was constructed and tested in laboratory and field-based conditions.
