Abstract

This research is a longitudinal case study with descriptive scope and mixed methodology: quantitative and qualitative. The aim of this paper is to analyze the potential for internationalization of a medium-sized enterprise (SME) in the footwear sector in the city of Leon Guanajuato, Mexico, in order to identify the feasibility of carrying out the plans of international trade. An analysis of both the industry and the organization was made. SME has an incipient experience for the US market.
