Abstract

After the treaty fulfills all its formal and substantive conditions, it becomes effective in the circle of international legal relations, and then its provisions become binding on the states party to it. Naturally, this treaty will bind only the states that have concluded it and within the scope of its implementation in terms of place, time and persons to whom it extends. It has been customary to specify a specific time in which the treaty will be in force, which is often done from the time of the exchange of ratifications. However, each country must have its own law that determines all the details of convening the treaty until its implementation, and therefore the time of implementation of the treaty must be determined, and this is what the Iraqi Treaty Law No. 35 referred to. for the year 2015. Therefore, we will discuss in this research the definition of treaties, the stages of their conclusion and their types in general. In the second topic, we devoted to the organization of treaties in Iraq, as well as the implementation of treaties.
