Abstract

The work presented by the authors offers a journey of the role of the teacher in different historical periods of Mexico. To say: Liberalism and lights in education, The Mexican Revolution and the Ministry of Public Education, Socialist education in Mexico, National Unity, Neoliberalism and globalization, The "community" as the central axis of/for citizen formation.
