Education and new technologies - a proposal from AUGE to the world

Abstract

In 2016 we presented new curricular online education modules which were oriented to engaging new professionals and upgrading their technological literacy worldwide (although mainly in Spanish speaking countries). These modules meant to generalize the use of New Technologies both inside and outside of the classroom. The name of the general project hosting these (and other) goals is CRECe, and it consists of four areas: Pedagogy, Science Didactics, New Technologies applied to Education, and Managerial Competences. This paper focuses on “New Technologies applied to Education”, browsing the reader through the processes which lead to the development of the modules, the main methodological orientations provided for each course and the synergy of all the areas. Some of the modules started in the last quarter of 2016 and the rest will be delivered along 2017.
