Abstract

Peak-regulating problems under light load have been a challenge for East China Power Grid (ECPG) because of the income of enormous clean energy from the outer regions and the increase of new energy of the inner region. What's more, it is worse due to the slow growth of off-peak load. A market-oriented mechanism is urgently needed to promote the usage of peak-regulating resources and will contribute to the optimal configuration of them.
