Abstract

An omnidirectional slit miniaturized rectangular patch antenna with a partial ground for Bluetooth and WLAN application is explored. This antenna covers the bandwidth of 10 % (2.317 - 2.5618) GHz considering |S11| < –10 dB. The size of the miniaturized antenna is 15.44×30 mm2. The current distribution of resonating frequency (2.447GHz) is studied. The Far-fleld pattern is omnidirectional at all frequencies, and in the paper, the simulated result is shown.
