Abstract

In the present work, Fractional Order Proportional Integral Derivative based controller is designed for the selected Second Order Plus Dead Time model and effect of variations in the parameter is analyzed. Various tuning techniques are implemented such as, Ziegler Nicholas, Cohen-Coon, Astrom-Hagglund and Chein-Hrones methods are employed with different algorithm such as, Nelder-Mead, Interior-Point and Sequential Quadratic Programming optimization techniques to regulate the fractional order parameter and classical parameter.
