Abstract

In Arbitrary Waveform Generator applications, “segmented” packets produce diverse waveforms. Anew architecture varies segment duration by varying the data rate. At the AWG’s 16 GHz effectiveclockrate, waveformresolution far surpasses conventional AWGs.
