Abstract
A wavelength tunable DBR/Ring laser employing a novel $1\times 2$ MMI -coupled ring resonator has been developed to obtain robust fabrication tolerance. The fabricated laser can operate in extended C-band with output power of 18 dBm, SMSR of 40 dB, and tuning range of 54 nm.
