The results of this study showed that the exercises of reverse grip barbell curls and barbell triceps extension have an effect on the increase in the maximum strength of the arm muscles of wrestling athletes; from the initial test and the final test results, there was an increase with a difference of 1.04, namely from an average score of 29.9 kg in the pre-test to 32.3 kg in the post-test.\nConclusions. Abstract

Study purpose. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reverse grip barbell curls and barbell triceps extension exercises on increasing the maximum strength of the arm muscles of wrestling athletes. Materials and methods. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population in the study was 24 wrestling athletes. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling techniques, namely 10 male wrestling athletes. The research instrument was carried out by lifting a load that was only able to be lifted 1 time or expressed ability (maximum strength) using a barbell.
