In this paper, a vendor-neutral and technology-agnostic Big Data Analytics Activity Reference Framework is presented to close the gap. The framework describes the high level Big Data Analytics activities and serves as a reference to practitioners to decide on the selection of the infrastructure, platform and computing layers.
