Angiomyofibroblastoma – A Rare Vulval Tumor

Abstract

Angiomyofibroblastoma (AMFB) is a rare, benign, mesenchymal tumor occurring mostly in the genital tract in young to middle-aged women. Due to its presentation, it can be mistaken for Bartholin’s abscess, leiomyoma, or Gartner’s cyst. It has a low recurrence rate, but it has to be differentiated histopathologically from aggressive angiomyxoma. We present a case of AMFB of the vulva in a 40-year-old female who presented with swelling over the vulva.
