The objective is to damp the local mode of oscillations that occur following power system disturbances. The bode plots and root locus are used to illustrate the process of tuning the PSS controls. In this paper, we describe the proposed parameters, and compare with old parameters rotor damping. The study is covered a field experiment and simulation. The old parameters was made by SIEMENS are chosen to compared with the proposed model. Abstract
This paper presents a new parameters tuning power system stabilizer at Sarir gas turbine power plant.
