Abstract

In modern literature, little attention is paid to contact connections, as well as to an analysis of their condition. At the same time, contact connections can induce additional current harmonics, which depend on the state of the contact. When contact is affected by any vibration, then due to nonlinear dependence of transitional contact resistance on the magnitude of the contact-compressing force, the harmonic composition of currents flowing through a contact connection changes.
