ConnectionChain: the Secure Interworking of Blockchains

Abstract

Blockchain is a core technology managing asset values of cryptocurrencies, or recording digital trails for important business transactions. Smart contract technologies on blockchain is expected to improve the security of blockchain system, but that is not a viable solution when an application service is required to simultaneously operate closely-related blockchain ledgers as service business logic. Therefore, this paper proposes a method to extend the functionality of traditional blockchain smart contract by introducing a prototype system, named “ConnectionChain”.
