The research conducted is only focused on product development. This research was conducted at MTs Riyadllatul Ulum Batanghari, East Lampung. The instrument used was a material expert validation questionnaire, a design expert validation questionnaire, and a student response questionnaire. Based on the results of research conducted with two material expert validators and two design expert validators with an average percentage of results of 85.21% with a very valid category, as well as a practicality test conducted by ten students with an average percentage of results of 86.07 % with very practical category. Abstract

This research aims to discover the process of developing teaching materials with a contextual approach to flat shape material in class VII MTs Riyadlatul Ulum Batanghari. And to produce teaching materials in the form of modules with a contextual approach to valid and practical flat shape materials. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) and uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).
