BONITAA: A smart approach to support the female rape victims

Abstract

The most common forms of violence against women in Bangladesh are physical and mental torture for dowry, murder, rape, abduction, early marriage, trafficking, forced prostitution and sexual harassment. In this paper, we have proposed a user friendly mobile based approach named BONITAA, with multiple unique features which are focused to support the rape victims. Our aim is to support our sisters by easing their way to get justice with lawful solutions, physical and mental support etc. From our concern for the less educated, simple rural women, we have designed the application in Bengali with lots of pictorial representations where necessary so that it will be acceptable for all section of women in Bangladesh.
