The author analyses the structure of its population and economy concerning the correspondent indexes in the cities constituting The Special Capital Area Jakarta that are: The South Jakarta, The North Jakarta, The East Jakarta, The West Jakarta, The Central Jakarta and the region Archipelago of 1000 Islands. The author pays special attention to the systems of education and health care of Jakarta, to the problems of welfare and poverty of its citizens, to the ecological problems including utilization of waste and to the structure of its economy. Abstract
