Secara komparatif untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 antara model pembelajaran Mind mapping dan model pembelajaran ekspositori ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa. Analisis data dengan Anacova. Hasil uji anacova didapat F hitung = 62,244 dengan p = 0,000, karena p < 0,01 maka disimpulkan ada perbedaan yang sangat signifikan. Secara deskriptif kecenderungan hasil belajar IPA dan motivasi belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran Mind mapping lebih tinggi daripada model ekspositori. Berarti model pembelajaran Mind mapping lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa. Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimental yang secara deskriptif bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecenderungan hasil belajar IPA dan motivasi belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran Mind mapping dan model pembelajaran ekspositori.
