Abstract

The objective of the study is to improve walking experience with mixed reality technique. Walking is an excellent exercise, especially for the elderly. However, walking may become tedious due to limitation of the environment. Mixed reality, the hybrid of augmented reality and virtual reality, is able to turn real environment into fascinated world, and offers new opportunities to improve walking experience. In this research, a mixed reality walking system has been developed.
