Abstract

The paper presents the editing technology of multi-table data views in databases of relational type. This technology removes the constraint that establishes conformance of the edited view tuple with the table (relation) tuple of the database. This technology is relevant in the automated creation of user applications. The application should work with the data view that is with the table formed out of the set of database relations with the queries of "join-select-projection" type. The requirement for such applications is the implementation of data editing functions: addition, deletion and modification of tuples in the table.
