Abstract

The current challenges that the European space addresses to us invite us, the language teachers, to facilitate to the foreign students the learning of a transferable autonomy in various social, cultural, professional contexts. Extracurricular teaching activities are an important tool for learning Romanian as a foreign language. In order to optimize the practical acquisition of language and communication skills, we consider it necessary to directly expose the group to the environment outside the classroom, in activities that involve the use of language in social and cultural contexts.
