We observed that there is a scarcity of works that report the use of SDO in Physics teaching. However, we believe that it is possible to associate Olympic problems with teaching the Physics component and especially kinematics. Abstract

In this article, we propose the use of Olympic didactic situations (SDO), such as those used in the National Science Olympiad (ONC), Brazilian Science Olympiad (OBC), among others, as an alternative for teaching kinematics, in the component of Physics, in Basic Education. Reflecting on the need to work with kinematics in a more attractive and challenging way, which arouses the interest of students.
