Abstract
Exercise by using running is one of exercises that people gradually interested. It is easy, safe and physical exercise intense controllable by oneself. When the body has a physical exercise which enough intensity, it can produce a positive effect on brain function by changing amplitude of brainwaves. Therefore, this study examined the effect of a moderate physical exercise by using running and exercise in moderate intensity on EEG activity in five healthy young adults. The result showed that amplitude of EEG power spectra including theta, alpha, and beta frequency bands statistically significant increased following moderate intensity of running. It is concluded that amplitude of EEG power spectra were significantly altered moderate intense exercise.
