Abstract

Electrical components for power generation and digital applications have allowed to propose an automation scheme for a Minigrid system. Concepts, simulations, and the application case are presented in this Paper. The electrical system includes four modules (an Inverter Based Resource, a Synchronous Generator, a Variable Load and the connection point with the external grid). The proposed approach has been implemented and includes simulations where the optimal power flow solution is part of the control strategy.
