Abstract

In this paper an electrically small dipole antenna fully embedded in an LTCC substrate is presented. The antenna exhibits small dimensions of 12.2×5.1×0.7 mm3. It is suitable for SoP integrated RF-front end modules operating at 2.45 GHz. It makes an efficient use of the multilayer capabilities provided by LTCC technology, where the matching circuit components are fully embedded into the substrate.
