Language learning strategies and their impact on learner autonomy

Abstract

One of the aims of higher education is to help students to become autonomous learners. The paper discusses issues connected with teaching language learning strategies for students receiving advanced language training and their impact on learner autonomy. The results of teaching the course intended to provide this need are given.
