Young people on the territory of the municipal formation «Mirninsky District» of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia): the experience of sociological research

Abstract

В статье представлены результаты проведенного с 8 по 23 января 2021 г. социологического опроса среди молодежи, проживающей на территории МО «Мирнинский район» Республики Саха (Якутия) с целью определения социально-экономического состояния молодежной среды. По итогам анкетирования были выявлены: основные потребности молодежи, степень их удовлетворенности; проблемы, с которыми сталкиваются молодые люди; жизненные позиции молодежи по вопросу службы в армии; отношение к людям с ограниченными возможностями и волонтерской деятельности; отношение к проводимой публичной властью социально-экономической политике. Особый интерес вызвало отношение молодых людей к волонтерской деятельности, что стало актуальным в условиях пандемии COVID-19. Опрос также помог определить основные информационные источники, используемые молодежью, поскольку возможности коммуникационных каналов способствуют своевременному информированию молодых людей о мероприятиях, в том числе проводимых органом местного самоуправления. Определение состояния молодежной среды необходимо для выстраивания приоритетных направлений молодежной политики на муниципальном уровне, верная реализация которой – важнейший фактор благополучного развития муниципального образования «Мирнинский район», Республики Саха (Якутия) и государства в целом. The article presents the results of a sociological survey of young people living on the territory of Mirninsky District in order to determine the socio-economic state of the youth environment. Based on the results of the survey, the basic needs of young people were identified, the degree of their satisfaction; problems faced by young people; their life positions on the issue of military service, attitude towards people with disabilities and volunteering; attitude to the socio-economic policy pursued by the public authorities. Of particular interest was the attitude of young people to volunteering, which became relevant in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey also helped to identify the main information sources used by young people, since the possibilities of communication channels contribute to timely informing young people about events, including those carried out by the youth policy committee. Determining the state of the youth environment is necessary for building priority areas of youth policy at the municipal level, the correct implementation of which is the most important factor in the successful development of the municipal formation «Mirninsky District», Sakha Republic (Yakutia) and the state as a whole.
