As rule, these accidents are accompanied by significant economic losses [2]. Cable networks of 6-10 kV include approximately 95% of three-core cables with impregnated-paper insulation (IPI) [3]. One of the major causes of accidents is obsolescence and physical deterioration of cable lines with IPI, which is equal to 40-90% [1], [4].
