A biblioteca escolar no contexto da educação em tempo integral

Abstract

This article presents data from a master's research on school library in the municipality of Santarem/PA, specifically on the recent studies about the school library and the place that the library occupies in the Political-Pedagogical Project of a Municipal School of Elementary School of Integral Time , considering that this document exemplifies and materializes the expression of values ​​transmitted to the internal and external communities, the human formation intended by the school and the objectives and goals that are sought to achieve when using the resources and methods adopted to mobilize school efforts. These data come from documentary and bibliographical research and from the dissertation bank of the Graduate Program in Education of the Federal University of the West of Para (PPGE/Ufopa). First, conceptual aspects of integral education and full - time school will be presented, highlighting theoretical assumptions and references on the subject in Brazil; and cited some local studies about the experience in the municipality of Santarem/PA, as well as highlighting the configuration of the school day in four European countries: Germany, Denmark, Italy and Greece, based on articles by Miguel Pereyra, published in 1992 and 2005 (apud MAURICIO, 2014); Secondly, based on data from the National Program for Academic Cooperation (Procad) collected in Santarem/PA and on local studies on integral education, the contextualization of the researched school will be done and described as the library was foreseen in the Project (2014 to 2017).
